Zoar proudly hosts a local scouting program complete with our own scout building for the scout’s use. We sponsor Pack 41 and Troop 241.

Cotton bags are decorated with painted cartoon characters by the women. These bags are filled with puzzles, small toys, coloring books/crayons, dolls, and other items for children and delivered to local hospitals, soup kitchens and homeless shelters where they are given to children coming in under stressful situations.

The Wood Workers are a group of men who meet weekly for fellowship and to make items for the children’s bags such as wooden cars, trucks and puzzles. One of their specialty items is the ‘Memory Boxes’ made and given to the children who enter Southeastern Children’s Home.
